The best way to save an approved MSDS to a local drive is to use the export functionality in the MSDS Access screen.
To use the Export function:
1) Open MSDS Access and search for the MSDS to be exported. Note: only approved MSDS documents will be listed
2) Highlight the MSDS record.
3) Select Edit>Export from the menu
4) Select the path and name for the file.
5) Save the file as an RTF file (The other formats produce poor results)
Unfortunately, only one file at a time can be exported.
The Save functionality in MSDS Author has no export value. It does appear as if a file is being saved, but none is ever produced.
